Travel Advisory to Australia, Chengdu (China) and Thailand
Dear Valued Passengers,
Please take your time to check below information before flying to Australia, China or entering Thailand.
1. For passengers travel to Australia
Don't forget the following duty free limits:
General Goods: adults - AUD900, kids - AUD450, Alcohol - 2.25 litres, Tobacco - 25 cigarettes or 25g tobacco.
If you're traveling with Family on same flight, you may combine your individual duty-free concession limits. To do this, families must stay together when going through Customs clearance.
Penalties may apply if goods are not declared or over the limitation.
If you bring in more than your allowed free limit for general goods, you’ll need to pay duty on all your general goods not just on the excess.
2. For passengers travel to Chengdu, China
Please be noted that Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU) would be changed to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU). The last flight from CTU to BKK (TG619) will depart on 23 March 2023. The first flight from BKK to TFU will depart on 28 March 2023.
3. For passengers travel to Thailand
In regards to Covid-19, Thailand Ministry of public health has revised the recommendations for International passengers as follows:
- Vaccination is not required any longer.
- Passenger from country that has requirements for RT-PCR test might as well have health insurance covering at least USD 10,000 of treatment of covid-19 for the itineraries in Thailand plus 7 days.
- Thai citizen passports and transit/ transfer passengers are exempted from health insurance check.
- The passenger need to wear mask at all-time except during meal or emergency situation.
- Passenger with covid - 19 symptoms during travel shall be recommended to test at arrival.
